CrossWorks Carpentry.."Where Every Nail Has a Purpose"

Personal Testimony

It goes without saying that honesty is perhaps the most important aspect of what we do as individuals who provide services at one's home. Your home is a unique place in itself. It has its own character, its own memories and it serves as a place to gather friends and family. However, when inviting unfamiliar people let alone having them work within your home, it can be very questionable for some, and for others an all too familiar event. And based on past experiences they were either positive or an absolute nightmare.

When I decided to start my business just over 14 years ago, I was stepping into my 20th year in the industry

However in 1984, all I had was ambition and a tool pouch. The entire first year was a joy ride for me in terms of accomplishments and disappointments along the learning curve. Over the years I've spent time working in residential developments, commercial work, retail sales, and lumber sales. This experience has been a blessing to say the least.

However I have to say the most important moment in my life was 21 years ago when I made the decision to seek Christ as our Lord and Savior. And so when deciding to establish a business name, I wanted to create a name defining not only what I believe in, but also what I try and live each day. The word "CrossWorks" represents my intentions to perform all my work onto the Lord.  For it is He who provides all my needs and it is He who died for my sins on the cross. In stating this, my intention is to clearly define who I am and what I strive for. My slogan states: "CrossWorks Carpentry...Where every nail has a purpose". In other words, they nailed Christ on the cross using 3 nails and he did this for each of us. In return, every nail I use is for HIM who died for me that I may be forgiven and have eternal life with Christ.

Quality, integrity, character, and honesty are what I make every effort to accomplish on a daily basis.
