Higgins Beach/Harmon's Island

Sometimes having one large
finished room upstairs in your home can be a great place for
the kids to play, however in this case, it served as a
Master Bedroom. And when family decides to visit and stay a
few nights, this would pose an issue for privacy. In this
two bedroom home, one served as a bedroom upstairs and the
other, an already established den downstairs. Only one half
of the upstairs was being used as a bedroom. It was time to
divide the space and create an additional bedroom. Our goal
was to build a dividing wall with a pocket door, add a
closet to the new room, match new trim work with existing,
re-paint the entire 2nd floor, and also add a new coat of
paint to the stairwell and new coat of polyurethane to the
steps.
Unfortunately we were unable
to get "before" pictures on this project. We can however
provide pictures of the finish product.
