  Knox Deck

Here we have a pressure treated deck which is over 20 years old that has reached a point where the wood is worn down to the point of being unsafe due to constant splinters and is unable to hold a clear sealant which is what the home owners would prefer rather than a solid stain or paint. Therefore they have decided to have me replace the entire deck and they also want a set of stairs that are a lot easier to walk up than what is currently there which are varying step heights and are also steep to begin with.

Thus I will provide them with a new pressure treated deck, however this time the platform step off the dining area will be a tad larger for ease of use. This way the exiting of and entry into the house will be a more comfortable experience. Also, I will  then raise the entire deck height one step to add an additional step to the stairway which will now create a more functional step rise of 6-1/2 inches rather than the steep varying risers they now have. So lets begin!
