Four Season Room The owners of this home in Cape Elizabeth have enjoyed this room for many years as a screened-in addition above the Garage. However, they felt that this particular room had outgrown it's usefulness as a one season room, and have decided to transform the space adjacent to a guest bedroom into a "Four Season" room which will be a very cozy and pleasant escape for friends and family visiting for a short period of time. My goal is to remove the existing railings within the openings, along with the screening and prepare each space to receive new energy efficient vinyl windows. Once the windows are in place, trimming the inside will be the final step to making the room weather tight. Also, an existing stairwell leading to the backyard will be removed and blocked off to the weather. A floor will be framed and insulated, and eventually this space will be used as minor storage.
